We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented APA English Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is an expert in editing and copywriting, with a strong command of APA style guidelines. They will ensure the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of content while maintaining the desired tone, audience alignment, and geo-targeting specifications for clients.
Responsibilities:- Review SEO content for clarity, logical flow, grammar, and adherence to company and client standards.
- Ensure articles align with APA style guidelines and client-specific tone and rules.
- Review and edit content briefs for grammar and accuracy before sharing with writers.
- Conduct post-publication content checks on client websites to identify and fix formatting, grammatical, or linking issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (content, SEO, PPC, and design) to provide ad copy and editing support.
- Review websites using tools like Markup.io to identify and resolve spelling or grammar issues.
- Create ad copy for practice area pages and other client projects as needed.
- Participate in internal training sessions and team meetings to align with company objectives and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing English content in APA style.
- Strong background in writing ad copy for websites.
- Experience editing legal blog content.
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and APA guidelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in using content review tools like Markup.io.
