General SummaryThe primary mission of this position is to interface with customers and contractors while managing the construction of our Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) projects. This primarily includes on-site project management duties or remote system upgrades or troubleshooting, and secondarily includes team tasks such as self-performing installation/start-up/commissioning, and remote service.Responsibilities
  • Work closely with installation subcontractors for projects for both on-site and remotely managed situations, and coordinate work to ensure projects are completed on time and per cost, standards and contract requirements.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, flexible, and self-starting team environment of technical experts as peers.
  • Perform software or hardware installations, with programming, required for equipment and system operation.
  • Have working knowledge to build or make modifications to graphics, alarms, and histories within the control system environment.
  • Perform low voltage cable installation/termination for small projects, if needed.
  • Maintain on-going project as-built documentation.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara based Building Automation products.
  • 4 – 7 year technical university or trade degree and/or industry related technical field experience including HVAC Systems, DDC Systems, software, or HMI development..
  • Knowledgeable with DDC control applications pertaining to HVAC, Power, or Data Center environments.
  • Experience integrating BACnet, Modbus, or SNMP devices.
  • Experience with control system presentation graphics, alarming, trending, and system server maintenance
  • Familiarity with traditional submittal package preparation, control drawings, building drawing packages, and as-built drawing development.
  • Startup and commissioning of complete building control systems is a plus
  • Ability to visit construction job-sites that may require hard hats, climbing stairs or ladders, maneuvering in and around pipework or ductwork, and work safely in proximity to exposed line voltage and low voltage wiring and terminations.
  • Out of state travel will be required (estimated to be 10-40% )
