This is a remote position.Sea School Credential Specialist: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Petersburg, FL Time with an hour unpaid break
RequirementsQualifications:
As a Credential Specialist, you will review MMC applications. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing personalized support and advice to mariners at various stages of the credentialing process.
- MMC Application Review: Review credential applications for accuracy and completeness. Ensure that all required documentation, including sea service records, medical certificates, and training certificates, meets NMC requirements. Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Regulatory Guidance: Stay updated on current maritime regulations and NMC policies to provide accurate and timely guidance to clients.
- Client Support: Offer one-on-one consultations to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide clarity on credentialing requirements and procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, application statuses, and any issues encountered during the credentialing process.
RequirementsQualifications:
- Highly Organized: Able to maintain structure while handling multiple tasks and a high volume of applications.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that may arise during the application process.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
