This is a remote position.Eligibility Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM PST (12:00 AM to 9:00 AM Manila Time) with 1 hour unpaid lunch


Job Summary
The Eligibility Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring clients meet the necessary program requirements by thoroughly reviewing applications and verifying their information. This position involves coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining accurate data records, and providing clear guidance to clients on eligibility rules and processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Application Review & Processing: Evaluate client applications to determine if they meet program eligibility criteria, ensuring that all required documents and information are provided.
  • Verification of Demographics: Confirm demographic details for new clients and update records for clients with changes to their information.
  • Client Assistance: Respond to client inquiries, assist with phone calls, and guide applicants through the eligibility process, explaining program rules and requirements.
  • Data Management: Enter client data into computer systems with high accuracy, ensuring all records are up to date.
  • Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to expedite the application process and ensure timely resolution of cases.
  • Eligibility Determination: Analyze client data, including income levels, household composition, assets, and debts, to determine eligibility for government or private aid programs.
  • Client Support: Help clients complete application forms, paying close attention to detail and accuracy and clarifying any questions or issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on eligibility determinations, outlining outcomes and any additional actions required.
  • Program Communication: Provide clear, accurate information to clients about program requirements, regulations, and processes to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by supervisors or management.
