Overview: Are you ready to recruit talent that solves water resource and environmental remediation challenges? Would you enjoy working with a fast-paced, highly collaborative, energetic team? As a Talent Sourcer, you will be committed to sourcing, attracting, and converting highly sought-after and talented prospects into active candidates—pipelining and filtering talent into our ATS system. Your team will focus on acquiring high-quality talent for multiple businesses and enhancing Woodard & Curran’s consulting groups. Your focus will be on a sourcing strategy that includes finding top-tier environmental and water professional engineers, sourcing, candidate engagement, and more. You will strategically reach out to candidates in the market and create a reach-out plan. Woodard & Curran is a full-service environmental planning, engineering, construction, and operations firm with 1200 staff delivering services to public and private clients nationwide.
Contract: 3 - 4 Months What will you be doing? The primary responsibilities are to support the business in strategic recruiting initiatives and related projects with focus, enthusiasm, and follow-through. This position reports directly to the Lead Technical Recruiter and is an integral member of the company's Talent Acquisition Team.
  • You will utilize your strong sourcing and pipeline abilities to recruit and attract exceptional people for Woodard & Curran.
  • This role focuses on creating strategic talent pipelines and recruiting top technical talent.
  • The ability to partner with the recruiting team is very important.
  • It’s essential that you are comfortablerecruiting passive candidates and can gauge the technical skills and chemistry of candidates for fit and understand candidate motivation.
  • You will build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research.
  • You are expected to continually expand upon sourcing trends and knowledge by staying current on new industry information, talent pool activity, or potential sourcing/networking activities.
  • Your team will serve as the primary liaison for your consulting leaders and candidates throughout the entire recruiting cycle.
What you need to succeed:
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in sourcing engineering professionals
  • Previous experience as a Talent Sourcer or in a similar role, preferably within the engineering and environmental services industry
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of business needs in sourcing top-tier technical talent.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional communicator, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of work and experience.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision but also successful in fostering teamwork and inter-department collaboration.
  • Ability to meet set KPI
  • Ability to manage and facilitate multiple searches and related talent activities.
  • Ability to interact with and engage all levels of professionals
  • Proficient with navigating social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, ATS, web-based job boards, and other online tools.
