Freelance Technical Translator (English to Vietnamese) - E-Learning Content

GUVI (Grab Your Vernacular Imprint) Geek Network Private Limited is an online learning platform incubated by IITM and IIM-A, and supported by Google Launchpad & Jio Gennext. We offer online learning in multiple vernacular languages alongside English, and with over 1.8 lakh users, we're experiencing tremendous growth.  

We're seeking a skilled and experienced freelance translator to join our e-learning content production team, specializing in adapting technical content from English to Vietnamese. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our educational materials are accurately translated, engagingly narrated, and seamlessly synchronized with visuals.

• Translate technical e-learning content from English to Vietnamese, preserving the original intent, context, and educational value.

• Provide high-quality voice-over narration in Vietnamese, ensuring clear pronunciation, proper intonation, and an engaging delivery that resonates with the target audience.

• Synchronize voice-over narration with visual elements, animations, and on-screen text for a seamless learning experience.  

• Exceptional vocal and diction skills with the ability to modulate tone, pace, and emotion.

• Proficiency in using recording equipment and editing software for voice over recordings.

• Native fluency in both English and Vietnamese, with a strong understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances in both languages.

• A clear, engaging, and adaptable voice suitable for technical educational content.

• Experience in audio-visual translation, voice-over recording, and synchronization. (preferred but not required)

• While 3+ years of experience is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with career breaks or those who are in their final year. Experience in the VLSI domain is a plus.
