Full Stack Developer – Internal tools

As a Full Stack Developer on our internal tooling team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our platform, which thousands of users rely on to set up their remote workspaces. You will be part of a diverse team of engineers working both remotely and in a hybrid environment, where your contribution will directly influence architectural decisions and elevate our platform.

Together with your team you will work on building best-in-class product experiences for customers. You will be working together with the team create and design your own re-usable APIs and components.

You will collaborate closely with our Operations team to develop new features, expand our product offerings, and continually enhance the internal tools that support our business. Your work will focus on building APIs and reusable components to deliver best-in-class product experiences for customers.

To succeed in this role, you’ll focus on excelling in the following key areas:

1. Internal Tooling & Product Development:
   • Design and build scalable internal tools that enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s hybrid working model.
   • Continuously improve the internal platform by identifying new opportunities for optimization and introducing innovative features that support business growth.
     
2. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Engineering, to understand business needs and align on the development of internal tools that improve both employee experience and operational efficiency.
   • Regularly collaborate with remote and hybrid teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on project goals and technical strategies.
     
3. API & Architecture Design:
   • Lead the development of reusable APIs and modular components, ensuring that architectural decisions support the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance.
   • Proactively contribute to key architectural decisions, balancing technical best practices with business requirements to drive innovation.
     
4. Performance Optimization & Scaling:
   • Ensure that internal tools are optimized for performance, enabling seamless scaling as the company expands globally.
   • Continuously evaluate the technical infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement to support the platform’s growth and efficiency.
     
5. User-Centric Design & Usability:
   • Focus on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces, leveraging low-code tooling where appropriate to streamline development.
   • Prioritize user experience by building interfaces that are not only functional but also elegant and easy to use for internal stakeholders.
     
6. Problem-Solving & Innovation:
   • Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues within internal tools, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
   • Embrace a “nothing-is-impossible” mindset, constantly seeking creative solutions to technical challenges and pushing the boundaries of what internal tools can achieve.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and MySQL 8, building robust and scalable applications.
• Application Development: Proven experience in developing both frontend and backend applications using JavaScriptand MySQL 8, with a focus on efficiency and performance.
• UI/UX Focus: Strong passion for creating beautiful, user-friendly, and elegant UI designs, with a keen eye for usability and user experience. Experience working with low-code tools to build and maintain user interfaces.
• Continuous Learning & Collaboration: Eager to learn new technologies, share knowledge, and engage in discussions with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement.

• Technical Expertise: Strong engineering skills with a passion for exploring new technologies and pushing boundaries.
• Fluent Communication: Proficient in business English, both written and verbal.
• Critical Thinking & Initiative: Hands-on, proactive, with a “nothing-is-impossible” mindset.
