Network Automation and Orchestration Engineer

As a Network Automation and Orchestration Engineer, you will be part of a high profile team that will allow for you to shape the direction of numerous technology and practice initiatives especially in the Software Defined Networking and Network Automation Space.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Work with internal and external customers in driving their architecture needs
Design, Support and Troubleshooting of existing and growing Network / Data Center environments
Implement Network Automation based solutions for clients / customers
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
Create Low Level Design, High Level Design, Implementation Plan, and Acceptance Test Plan documents in accordance with customer standards
Strategic research and evaluation of new solutions and relevant technologies
Provides detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
Administers technologies that directly support cyber security and the protection of company assets and data
Develops and implements enterprise mitigation actions in response to complex vulnerabilities
Actively enforces Cyber Security policy and participates in incident response
Across all technologies, responsible for installation, testing, upgrades, patching, resiliency, performance, and application support

Must Have a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience in designing and maintaining highly available Underlay and Overlay Networking and Security constructs (MPLS, eVPN, VxLAN)
Proficient in tuning and diagnosing dynamic routing protocols and associated attributes for complex route manipulation.
Experience in Automation/Orchestration solutions (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, GIT)
Experience in coding/Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Powershell, Netmiko, Netconf, Yaml, JSON, API's)
Practical knowledge of Industry standard Network/Security best practices and solutions
Excellent diagnostic skills in troubleshooting complex Network/Firewall/Load-Balancer platforms throughout all layers of the OSI model
Experience in deploying IaaS/IaaC/PaaS/SaaS solutions that blend Cloud and OnPrem related services
Experience with Software Defined Networking solutions (SDWAN, NFV, Cloud Provider Peering)
Experience in designing, deploying DNS/GSLB/VPN/Anycast/Active-Directory services
Experience with Proxy & End-User design/deployments, Zero-Trust security solutions, Multi-Factor Authentication services
Strong skills with automation (REST API, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Powershell, etc.)
Experience engineering and troubleshooting large, complex network solutions
AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Networking/Security Certifications; or 2+ years equivalent experience in Cloud Networking & Security
Juniper Route/Switch Certifications or 4+ years equivalent experience with JunOS platforms
Cisco Route/Switch Certifications or 4+ years equivalent experience with IOS/NXOS platforms
PaloAlto/F5 Certifications or 4+ years equivalent experience with related platforms
Provisioning and maintenance of Public Internet Addressing (ARIN, RIR, RPKI)
- Experience deploying SDP platforms
Experience deploying Virtualized Networking/Security functions
Experience deploying Arista EOS/vEOS switching platforms
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
