As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and enhancing our operational efficiency. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience
  • Administer employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, parental leave, and other leave policies
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employee leaves
  • Develop, update, and communicate company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook to reflect current practices and legal requirements
  • Coordinate and manage review cycles, including performance evaluations and promotion processes
  • Oversee compensation initiatives such as raises, salary banding, and releveling to ensure fairness and competitiveness
  • Track and analyze key people metrics such as retention rates, headcount planning, and budgeting
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations to mitigate risks and ensure company compliance
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Manage any offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a respectful exit experience for departing employees
Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of experience in a People Operations or similar HR role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll processing, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
