Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wedding Photography Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to deliver high-quality photo edits for wedding photography. This remote position involves touch-ups, culling, cropping, and selecting images that tell a beautiful and cohesive story from each wedding. The role requires someone with a creative eye, an understanding of storytelling through photography, and strong technical editing skills.

• Photo Editing: Use Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance wedding images, ensuring each photo meets high-quality standards.

  • Apply color correction, exposure adjustments, and retouching to create polished and professional images.
    
  • Make use of Lightroom catalogs to manage and organize large volumes of images effectively.
    

• Culling: Review and select the best photos from a large batch, eliminating duplicates or low-quality images while maintaining the integrity of the overall wedding story.
  

• Cropping & Composition: Crop photos as necessary to improve framing and composition, ensuring the final images are visually stunning and consistent with the client's vision.
  

• Touchups: Perform detailed retouching to remove blemishes, smooth skin, enhance details, and ensure the final images reflect a polished, natural look.
  

• Storytelling through Image Selection: Curate a sequence of images that tells a cohesive and emotional story of the wedding day. Maintain a flow of images that captures key moments and emotions.
  

• Proficiency in Lightroom & Photoshop: Extensive experience working with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, with a strong understanding of their advanced features for wedding photography editing.

• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, ensuring high-quality photo editing with consistent style and accuracy.

• Creative Storytelling: Ability to curate and select photos that tell a compelling and cohesive narrative.

• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills for remote collaboration with clients and team members.

• A portfolio or examples of previous wedding photo editing work (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  

• Experience in wedding photography editing is preferred, but not required.
