The Practice Consultant is responsible for communicating with clients on service delivery issues as well as provide assistance on day-to-day inquires. This role will proactively consult with client on program success and strategize with client on ways to help ensure client obtains World Class service by performing the following duties personally or though subordinates.
Essential duties & Responsibilities:- Develops and maintains effective client relationships to ensure the provision of services rendered are in line with client expectations.
- Manages client expectations by effective communication of services parameters, client responsibilities, and impact of decision making to the provision of service.
- Provides customer service by responding to client requests and questions and resolving client issues within established service levels and committed timeframes.
- Effectively facilitates client meetings with various levels of client contacts, client presentations and project meetings with clients while positively representing Medusind.
- Analyzes the financial health of the clients ensuring that the client is maximizing the result of the Medusind service in order to achieve target collection results.
- Is responsible for executing all scheduled and ad hoc analytical activities using the established tools and methods.
- Develops and implements weekly account reviews along with an action plan for assigned clients/clients at risk to be presented to management.
- Is responsible for identifying and escalating potential trends that are not historically consistent or are determined to be normal to management.
- Acts as a liaison between the client and Medusind. The Practice Consultant has a dotted line responsibility to those individuals from each Medusind department that services the client, such as the collectors, payment posters, billers, development personnel, batch control.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong problem solving/critical thinking/consulting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - required.
- Results Oriented - Identifies, analyzes, confronts and overcomes barriers to successful completion of task.
- Customer Oriented - Attentive and responsive to client concerns or needs.
- Adaptable- Capable of adapting to others and new situations; flexible; can handle multiple competing tasks.
