Position Description

XLA is actively seeking a skilled Project Manager with an active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance to join our team at NARA, focusing on maintaining project timelines, coordination, and compliance within a government contracting environment. This role has an emphasis on strong organizational and communication skills to keep project tasks aligned and moving efficiently.

**This position is fully remote**RequirementsKey Job Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Act as the team lead, ensuring project goals are clearly communicated and the team remains motivated and on track.

Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate meetings to ensure effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and management.

Training Development Assistance: Assist in the development and scheduling of annual training programs, including specialized training for elevated users, ensuring all team members are updated on necessary skills and compliance.

Training Delivery Coordination: Coordinate the logistics and delivery of annual training to system owners, working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will conduct the training sessions.

Government Liaison: Serve as a point of contact with government clients for tasking orders and administrative communications.

Compliance and Assessments: Possess a strong working knowledge of NIST frameworks, cybersecurity risk assessments and FISMA compliance.

Assist in conducting assessments and supporting the Security Control Assessors (SCA’s) as required to ensure compliance with relevant standards and practices.

Job Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project management within a government or regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of NIST, Risk assessment methodologies, FISMA, and Cybersecurity Awareness Training
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Highly Desired Skills:
  • Experience or familiarity working at NARA
  • Experience conducting phishing exercises to enhance organizational security awareness.
  • Familiarity with FISMA reporting and documentation processes.
