Sourcing Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcer to support our recruiting efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging top candidates for our engineering and technology-focused roles. You will work closely with our recruiting team to ensure we attract and hire the best talent in the industry. This role requires hands-on experience with sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse, and a strong understanding of sourcing strategies for technical roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source and identify top talent for engineering and technology-facing roles using various platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, and other relevant sourcing tools.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Screening and Engagement: Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications and interest, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Develop and articulate effective sourcing strategies tailored to the needs of specific roles, with a focus on engineering and technology positions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide regular updates on sourcing progress.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in Greenhouse, ensuring a seamless transition from sourcing to recruiting.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive hiring practices to continuously refine and improve sourcing strategies.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze sourcing metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and provide insights to the recruiting team.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of sourcing experience, preferably in a technology or engineering-focused environment.
  • Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, and other relevant sourcing tools and platforms.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the engineering and technology landscape, with the ability to identify and attract candidates with technical skill sets like Javascript - Go and AWS.
  • Sourcing Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that effectively target and engage high-quality candidates.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for Recruiting: A genuine interest in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a desire to grow and develop within the field.
