This is a remote position.Provide technical leadership in system engineering and consulting for clients, including managing and optimizing VMware environments.
Administer and support VMware products such as VCF, VCD, NSX, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vRA/vRO/ARIA, and Tanzu.
Collaborate with customers to analyze and solve complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Develop and implement system administration processes, scripts, and automation workflows using tools like Ansible, Python, and other DevOps technologies.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, providing infrastructure solutions and ensuring best practices for cloud deployment.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, leveraging tools for automation and continuous integration/delivery.
Utilize knowledge of Linux, networking, and security to implement robust solutions across client systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and other team members, ensuring high standards of delivery.
Stay current with the latest advancements in system engineering, cloud technologies, and automation tools, ensuring continuous improvement.
RequirementsSenior-to-Lead level experience in system engineering, with a focus on VMware technologies.
Hands-on experience with VMware products, including VCF, VCD, NSX, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vRA/vRO/ARIA, and Tanzu.
Proficient in system administration and scripting, particularly using Ansible and Python.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps workflows.
Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and security concepts.
Excellent customer-facing consulting skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
