Job Description
Scope:
Initially manage social media for two businesses, with potential to expand to more
Work full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility to adjust hours as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to align social media strategy with overall business goals
Participate in weekly virtual team meetings and company culture activities
Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Manage and schedule social media content for multiple business accounts
Create and publish engaging blog posts twice weekly
Respond to comments and messages across all social media platforms
Handle email marketing campaigns and create newsletters
Monitor and respond to online inquiries, forwarding qualified leads to the sales team
Track and report on social media performance and engagement metrics
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different industries
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics
Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and newsletter creation
