We are looking for an outstanding Senior Collections Analyst, Commissions to join our growing team! This person will possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail while managing a high volume portfolio for hotel and travel supplier activity. The Senior Collections Analyst, Commissions will prepare hotel/supplier invoices, apply cash receipts, reconcile payment discrepancies, prepare management reporting, and drive process efficiencies to improve commission collection rates.

Here's what you'll do:
  • Prepare accurate and timely invoices for commissionable rate transactions, leveraging data compilation and reporting tools such as Excel, Looker, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
  • Process cash applications for incoming payments on a daily basis in accordance with remittances received.
  • Research and resolve payments received without remittance information to ensure timely and correct cash application.
  • Communicate directly with hotel/supplier accounts payable teams as necessary to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in commission payment activity, proactively communicating results.
  • Prepare Commission Aging report and weekly collections reporting to management.
  • Investigate and resolve all transaction questions – credits, short payments, unapplied payments.
  • Reconcile hotel and supplier accounts and research issues for timely resolution.
  • Continuously evaluate current processes and drive improvements to streamline collections and gain efficiencies.
  • Foster professional relationships with hotel properties and travel management suppliers.
Here's what we're looking for:
  • 2+ years experience processing commission invoices and cash receipts specifically for hotel and related travel supplier activity, required
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
  • Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; strong user of Excel (pivot tables, xlookups, etc.)
  • Large ERP experience required, NetSuite and SalesForce experience is a major plus
Cash compensation:
  • The base salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, and expertise.
Remote Opportunities:
  • This role is eligible for remote work. Hotel Engine is authorized to do business in all 50 states.
