Vice President of Finance
Job Description
The successful candidate for the Vice President of Finance role will be responsible for developing and directing the company’s analytical, financial plans and policies. This role is critical in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the organization's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This individual is responsible for ensuring financial stability, accuracy, and compliance within these specialized healthcare programs. The VP of Finance will also develop and report on metrics to optimize our growth and understanding of the complete financial picture of the organization to maximize efficiencies to promote scalability while overseeing and managing the finances, including accounting data, operational information, and market trends.

RequirementsFinancial Leadership- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive team along with the Board and the Financial Sponsors.
- Lead and manage long term financial plan, including capital, liquidity and valuation.
- Work with the CEO and external stakeholders during fundraising rounds and other such engagements.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Drive the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process.
- Collaborate with Operations and Clinical leaderships on objectives and key results (OKR) development and reporting.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and drive profitability.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the PHP/IOP programs' objectives and goals.
- Conduct regular financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to optimize program performance and resource allocation.
- Evaluate the financial viability of existing and proposed PHP/IOP services, including cost-effectiveness analysis and ROI assessments.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets for PHP/IOP operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
- Track variances and analyze financial performance against budgetary benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead the accounting process, including revenue recognition, financial statements generation.
- Lead the financial reconciliation process, including managing data feeds from internal systems and external systems.
- Build and mentor a finance team that understands the nuances of healthcare finance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration with clinical and operational teams.
