This is a remote position.We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team!
This person will need to work as an admin and processor and will need to speak to lenders, realtors, title companies, appraisers, insurance agents, etc. Much of the work is done by email and Dropbox and CRM, and not a lot of time on the phone.
Schedule:9 am - 5 pm (EST).
  • Send out and follow up on document requests to potential borrowers.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents andensure they meet lender requirements.
  • Guide borrowers through the loan application process, assisting them with filling out forms, gathering required financial data, and explaining the terms and conditions.
  • Ensure all borrower information is accurate, up-to-date, and properly entered into the loan system for processing.
  • Submit loan applications and related documents to lenders for approval, ensuring all required paperwork is included and compliant with lender-specific guidelines.
  • Track the status of loan submissions and keep borrowers and other stakeholders informed of any updates.
  • Act as the main point of contact for borrowers, realtors, lenders, insurance agents, appraisers, title companies, and other key stakeholders involved in the loan process.
  • Coordinate with these parties to ensure smooth underwriting, processing, and closing of loans.
  • Be involved in all aspects of the loan process, from pre-qualification to closing, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Address any issues that may arise during the loan process, facilitating resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Use and maintain existing loan processing tools and systems, such as Dropbox for document
  • Perform final checks on loan packages to ensure all information is accurate and complete before closing.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in loan processing or a similar financial services role, preferably within the private sector
  • Familiarity with loan processing systems and tools, such as Dropbox, Hubspot CRM, Google Docs & Sheets, and Paysimple.
  • Open minded and comfortable with change: Every loan template is different since this is the private (not public) industry
  • Communicate frequently with the CEO and any other employees of the company
  • Organized and detail oriented. This is important paperwork and mistakes can’t be taken lightly
  • Time Management: The position is self-directing and not micro-managed by the CEO or anyone else in the company. You are expected to fulfill your duties on your own time within normal business hours
