Compensation:
USD 30 - 35/hour.

What makes you a strong candidate:
  • You have 10+ years of experience in Cloudera Data Lake, and Oracle Database.
  • You are expert in Microsoft SQL Server, leadership, API, and informatica development.
  • English - Conversacional.

Responsibilities and more:
  • Possess capabilites to do developement and team leadership for project teams.
  • Works within a team community to support common goals for development standards and operational standards.
  • Automotive OEM experience.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey goals and initiatives to staff and management.
  • Proven experience with leading a team of 1 or 2 developers for a specific project, liason to business and technical lead and developers, review designs, code of developers.
  • Be/Become konwledgeable in one or more subject matters within the VW domain such as sales, vehicle, dealer, customer, TREAD and be capable of representing that subject area/technology in projects or business facing meetings.
  • Responsible for development/unit testing and integration testing of ETL's written given a specification.
  • Creating and executing test cases and documenting to prove all test scenarios function properly (including negative test cases).
  • Use industry best practices but also local design patterns for development.
  • Create or update design and systems documentation for developed or modified ETLs.
  • Create process and data flow diagrams for data movement capture.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate/communicate with project team and business users as required.
  • Support functional testing and performance testing (do the testing or supporting QA team).
  • Works with technical delivery lead on project activities.
  • Ensure assigned work is implemented within project schedules .
  • Analyze and translate business requirements to technical design.
  • Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with tehnical leads.
  • Design, develop, deploy, test and maintain technical assets in SOA environment, web services and integration.
  • Experienced in waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies.
  • Cross train team members for full knowledge coverage on team.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years overall IT experience: including 10+ years of hands on experience in 2 or more of the technologies listed in the Technical Experience section and experience leading a small development team.
  • Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server/Cloudera Data Lake (Hive/Impala) experience.
  • Strong experience in 2 ore more of the following Informatica development tools (e.g. Power center or BDM or ICS etc.)
  • Knowledgable about Java or services connections through IICS or APIs.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience in both Unix and Windows platforms.
  • Design and develop Informatica workflows to exchange data with Cloudera Data Lake, IBM MDM or other operational or warehouse data stores or cloud hosted solutions like CDP/Google.
  • Be able to create or modify Perl/Python/Shell scripts for job control and process flow and files processing.
  • Familiarity with Jira (defect remediation) and Confluence (project document repository).
  • Additional experience a plus: SalesForce integration using Informatica, Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), CDP, GCP, AWS.
