Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide vital support to our Lead Pastor in managing daily operations efficiently. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, managing communications, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. Responsibilities- Expertly manage and organize the Lead Pastor’s email inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper prioritization of communications
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with precision, confirming attendance with all parties and providing timely reminders
- Perform accurate data entry for congregation donations, understanding and adhering to important tax implications
- Act as a skilled gatekeeper, effectively managing access to the Lead Pastor’s time and communications
- Anticipate the Lead Pastor’s needs and think proactively about upcoming projects and tasks
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization
- Interact professionally with church staff, congregation members, and external contacts, representing the organization with grace and competence
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Requirements
- Proven track record as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-level support role
- Exceptional organizational skills with a talent for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when handling financial data and scheduling
- Advanced proficiency in email management and calendar scheduling tools
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively, anticipate needs, and think ahead on projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities and work schedules when needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently
- Proficiency in standard office software and willingness to learn new technologies as needed
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining high levels of productivity and engagement
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, faith-based environment
