We've taken this brand from $0 to currently around $1.3M/mo in 12 months. Fully bootstrapped and profitable. We're gearing up for our next growth phase and we need a superstar to lead our HR Team.
In a rapidly scaling e-commerce company like HeadX, which currently consists of around 35 people and is experiencing significant growth, we are looking for an HR professional who will be instrumental in establishing and refining HR processes from the ground up. This HR expert will need to design and implement HR frameworks that support our rapid scaling, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. This role involves not just managing existing processes but also proactively creating and adapting systems to meet the evolving needs of our fast-growing workforce.

Job Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to effectively manage the end to end employee life cycle of a distributed remote team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of engagement and performance excellence
- Collaborate with the existing Recruitment Manager, providing assistance as needed to optimize recruitment processes and support overall HR initiative
- Ensure a seamless employee experience from recruitment through onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Manage HR budgets effectively, including workforce planning, compensation, and benefits, to support our strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate with management teams to provide strategic HR guidance and align initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Coach and develop leadership teams, particularly those transitioning from specialist roles to leadership positions.
- Drive change management initiatives that align with our company culture, ensuring successful transformations that meet evolving business requirements.
- Build trust and rapport across all organizational levels, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the company.
- At least 4 years of HR experience in fast-growing or remote-first companies, with a proven track record in at least two different organizations.
- Proven experience managing remote teams and overseeing HR functions across multiple regions, with a strong understanding of global HR practices.
- Demonstrated ability in building and optimizing HR processes, including onboarding, performance management, L&D, and employee engagement.
- Experience managing the complete employee life cycle, ensuring a positive experience at every stage.
- Familiarity with managing HR budgets, including workforce planning and compensation.
- Experience working closely with management teams to provide strategic HR advice and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Experience coaching and developing leadership teams.
- Deep understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, with hands-on experience in enhancing recruitment strategies.
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field; a psychology background is acceptable if complemented by business-focused education.
- Comfortable with both strategic planning and daily HR operations, including the establishment and refinement of new processes and systems.
- Thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrating a pragmatic approach to overcoming challenges.
- Skilled in identifying gaps and developing HR solutions that align with rapid growth.
- Deep understanding of diverse cultures and global HR practices, ensuring the development of inclusive HR solutions
- Successfully managed HR functions during periods of rapid organizational growth, optimizing recruitment and HR processes to support scalable operations.
- Developed and executed a remote work strategy that significantly enhanced team engagement and productivity.
- Designed and implemented a leadership development program that improved leadership effectiveness and retention rates
