This is a remote position.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on managing data flows, ensuring report structures are maintained, and guaranteeing that data is accurately processed and refreshed. The successful candidate will work with various tools and technologies such as Power BI, Databricks, Python, Delta Lake, and will take ownership of documentation and process improvements.


Job Activities
  • Take ownership of report structures, ensuring quality and performance consistency across reports.
  • Create and monitor data flow, ensuring seamless movement of data across systems and that it’s appropriately refreshed in reports.
  • Guarantee data refresh in reports, ensuring timely and accurate data updates for business decision-making.
  • Keep documentation updated, using SharePoint to track requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to train and support others in the use of data tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient, scalable data pipelines and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.

Requirements
  • Experience with Data Bricks and Data Warehousing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (PySpark) and Delta Lake.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, with experience in creating dashboards and using DAX functions for data modeling and visualization.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL and ETL processes.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and create optimized data models.
  • Ability to take ownership of the report structure and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Strong English communication skills to effectively collect requirements from clients and collaborate with international teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail in managing data, documentation, and reporting.
  • Experience in creating documentation in SharePoint, keeping requirements and solutions clearly recorded.
  • Ability to train other people, with a focus on transferring knowledge and ensuring the team's success.
  • Advanced English
Desirable
  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
