Software Developer (Microservices and e-Government Systems)

This is a remote position.We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to be part of the team tasked with enhancing Albania’s e-government services through the redevelopment of the e-Albania portal. The role involves creating a robust, scalable, and secure architecture using microservices technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern development frameworks, cloud containerization, mobile app development, and agile methodologies.
Main Resposibilities:

• Platform Design: Develop a microservices-based architecture.
  
• Portal Upgrade: Redesign desktop and mobile versions, ensuring high performance and availability.
  
• Application Deployment: Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Real-Time Updates: Implement asynchronous processes to ensure zero downtime.
  
• API Integration: Create APIs to connect with the Government Gateway and other systems.
  
• Testing & Optimization: Perform testing and optimize performance for all platforms.
  
• User Accessibility: Develop secure, accessible interfaces following WCAG 2.2 standards.
  
• Post-Launch Support: Provide support and implement improvements based on user feedback.
  

Requirements

• Familiarity with secure coding practices.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Oracle Database.
  
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and APIs.
  
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  
• Experience: At least 3 years in software development.
